WIPW: BOMBSHELL BUT NOT TOO SEXY.Urgent!!

ladies: long exposition on my year in " Angie school" coming tomorrow. ( written in longhand, now to type it).

But now urgent help is needed.

Hubby and I are going on a date tomorrow after a looooooong time to celebrate our anniversary which was august 7th. I do want to look va va voom. But I think the skirt maybe a tad short? should I wear nude microfishnets? longer black mini skirt instead?

you look vava voom! the skirt is short but it works standing, what about sitting? i wouldn't wear microfishnets...its august (unless you don't live in the northern hemisphere)

You look so pretty. I do think the skirt is a bit short but my eye has become so adjusted to midis that perhaps you should take my opinion with a grain of salt. Did you try the black skirt, too? Love your clutch.

I always wear boy shorts/biker shorts under all dresses and skirts. I think it may ride up a bit during sitting. Hmmmmm.

Wowzers! You put the "va-va" in the "voom" for sure!! I think the skirt is a little short for most purposes, but if your hubby likes you in mini's, I think I would go for it! Or maybe do some black fishnets to up the sex appeal quotient!

Wow, you look great! I think it's a bit on the short side and I think the color blocking causes it to look shorter. The top is fabulous with the slight off the shoulder, sassy look. But with this mini a bit too vavavoom? Can we see a pic with the longer black mini for comparison?

Hm, I agree it is short for most things, but an anniversary is not most things. Does hubby like to see leg? I say do what makes him smile. Congrats!

I would not do fishnets; for some reason fishnets plus a mini feels even more "va va" than bare legs.

I can't tell if it's that the skirt is too short or it just looks short because the top is so long. It looks good on you though and if your hubby likes it...go for it! Have fun!!

Hubs LOVES me in short skirts which I seldom wear.And we have had so much medical stuff ( mine) going on that I think both of us have forgotten I can look hot. I think I might go for it!!

It looks hot! I agree with most it's short for many things, but for an anniversary with the hubby, I'd go for it. Celebrate! And Happy Anniversary!

I agree that an anniverary is a special occasion and it is more than okay to turn up the va-va-voom! With everything you've been through, you deserve to go out and have a great time looking as sexy as you want. Your DH liking short skirts would seal the deal for me. Wear this because you look GREAT!

Sona, I love the modern edge to this look. Simple, sexy and strong. The shoes and bag add a little bling, without being fussy. As long as you feel confident, you husband likes it and you're not bothered by the skirt length, I say go for it and have a magnificent evening!

looking at the outfit again. is the shirt supposed to be off the shoulder or is it too big? fussing with a shirt that is falling off your shoulder and a short skirt might be a bit of a hassle. just don't want you worrying about adjusting your outfit on your big night.

i'm with MaryK, Una, Rae, etc. - great skirt for an anniversary date. Lord knows i'm a very modest dresser, but i'll show a truly vulgar amount of cleavage some days because it cheers up the paterfamilias it used to make me feel pretty awkward, but after 12 years of marriage i've become pretty shameless.
