These outfits reflect the two main ways I get dressed - starting with a formula or starting with a piece.
1. Pink coat: 100% inspired by a piece, specifically wanting to wear this pink coat after seeing Angie's pink coat selfies. This coat (which I have posted in previous years) is by Dereta London and probably from the 60s.
2 - 4. Starting with a formula. I don't remember where I saw this trick, but I have been very into layering my sweaters over thin lacey or patterned sweaters and letting the sleeves show.
5. Starting with a piece - The jackets is vintage Fendi from the late 70s I think and I wanted to be sure to wear it before it gets too warm.
6. Starting with a piece - I pulled out this vintage Ann Demeulemeester shirt and realized it was pretty tonal with my trusty cashmere cardigan.

I think I usually get dressed with a piece in mind (taking into consideration the weather and how much walking I will be doing). I know we have discussed this before, but would be happy to hear how you pick your outfits. All comments and suggestions are of course welcome. Thanks for looking.
