Oh yes, how brilliant! You've created a whole new capsule with just a couple of new items that mix and match in a harmonious, but elegantly modern way. I've always loved this color palette, and your outfits give me some inspiration!
Thanks Beth Ann, glad I gave you some inspiration.
I returned the blazer, eventually, I don’t feel like wearing blazers anymore and the bracelet sleeves were super annoying to layer under coats.
I really like #4, so I will probably keep the trousers.
I'm late to this post. I love the burgundy on you, though I was not convinced by the inexact matching of jacket and trousers. The trousers are perfect. And I am impressed that you returned the blazer. I love them and I have too many, though my realistic season for them is very brief.
I am very late to this but love you in the burgundy! It does feel natural and works here in every outfit. I adore a mis-matched pseudo suit so I am with those who felt it worked, but if the jacket bothered you, best it went back. The fit of the trousers is fantastic.
Onto the next wine jacket for the pseudo suit, or something else in that palette. One of your best colours. JUST bought this dress for the holidays. I have the burgundy bug.
Wow, the color looks wonderful on you. I like the blue with it best. I have a hard time distinguishing between the wine and burgundy on my screen, so I’m not able to say much about the subtle color pairing of the trousers and blazer. It looks good to my eye.
Funny how we all love burgundy all of a sudden...will we hate it next year? Fashion ways are so mysterious
Angie : the way you build your olive and your burgundy capsules really make me think twice about adding colours : you really have to go the whole way (accessories, shoes, outerwear...) or it doesn’t work.
