I have been all over the map, so to speak, as to what to pack for a four-day stay in London and then a seven-day cruise to Northern Spain and France.
Feeling two different vibes as to how to dress for city adventure and my first-ever cruise, has me in a quandary.
This is pic heavy, so click as you like. I have over-packed and that is my tendency, however, I like to be ready for anything and any mood. I really hope some of you are around this weekend (probably not the best time to post while everyone’s out and about) to help me whittle and pare my packing wardrobe.
I understand it’s going to be rainy while we’re in London and some of our activities there include:
London
Seeing the “David Bowie is” exhibition a the Victoria & Albert Museum: http://www.vam.ac.uk/content/e.....-bowie-is/
Attending a theatre production, seeing friends for dinner and enjoying the nightlife, etc.
Cruise:
On the ship, our ports of call include having a spa day on our own in La Coruna, Spain, a tour of the Guggenheim Museum, a bicycle tour in Guernsey, and a wine tour in Bordeaux.
With this in mind, I’d appreciate your suggestions on what I’ve put together. Thank you so much for taking a look and sharing your thoughts. I leave for the airport on Monday at 1 p.m., so if you can’t get to it this weekend, I’ll keep checking to make adjustments.
1-2 Wearing on the plane (playing with scarves)
3-7 Possible V&A Museum outfit (I can only take one moto. Black or white? Also, should I forget the white boots, too? I have a pile of shoes to pack and need to be selective.)
8-17 Evening wear, London and Cruise, (Blue lace dress with navy? white? or citron?) I'm taking the navy and citron, but am undecided on the white pleather, unless it can be used more.
18 Just wacky multi-colored fun
19-23 Cruise outfits
24-31 More casual options that may not make the cut due to space. I am taking my denim shorts.
32 This wasn't in the correct order (should be with the 8-17 group) and is another variation using the Zara jacket and VC geoprint top.
Dilemmas: Black or white leather jacket? Which two skirts: Blue, white (both Ann Taylor) or black tube (Wolford)? Yellow tartans or gold? (I can take both, because I like them). I'm thinking that I may want to throw in my denim jacket, too, but I'm really wanting to take out more than add!
