What I Might Wear. My sister asked why are you wearing your pajamas? I thought I looked cute, very cute :(. So I'm going to leave it to the forum. Should I take these out on on the town? Or leave them for the bedroom? Yes or No and of course Why? Thanks in advance Truth only I promise I won't get mad.

I don't know. I like it. The yellow with the blue is pretty. The pants are the silky floral palazzo types.

It does take time for the eyes to adjust to floral pants like these though. I saw loads in zara that can look pajama-esque. But with the accessorizing you have done here and with the button down shirt, the outfit is dressy IMO.

Very pretty for summer. The belt adds structure as does the cut of your shirt, so I don't see pajamas.

The first time I saw these pants, I thought they were too PJ-like, too! But you have styled these brilliantly, as always, so you are good to go, in my humble opinion.

I like the sharp contrast of the vivid blue and the watery floral pant. I think this works just fine. Especially with the touches of gold in the belt and hand bag. I am especially a fan of the belt at the waist.

Not sure if you were planning to wear them on your trip, but I don't think you need the scarf or the hat -- they don't seem to add to the outfit.

I'm not even reading the other responses, but I don't see pajamas -- I see trendy, flowy floral pants. I like how the solid blue top goes without matching, and the contrast of the yellow tones is really nice. I'd probably go with just the headscarf and not the hat too, but I'm paring back on extra details these days. If you're feeling a bit more ALGO, then rock on!

Day Vies, and Janet, I wore the hat and scarf because my natural was not fully dry I do not use heat on my hair. You are right and I'm just going to let my natural fly free,

I am VERY familiar with the hair "ain't" quite right. There are several pics of me on this forum with the head cut off for that reason :-D.

Flowy pants are still very much trending, and you did a great job creating some structure with the cardi and the belt, so I say wear it and enjoy it!

I do not see pajamas at all when I look at your outfit. The bag and belt elevate the look from breezy to beautiful, and this is a fabulous summer outfit!

I think we see so fashion because of YLF and forget that the rest of the world only sees what is in front of them. I'm in fashion kindergarten and even I know that floral palazzo pants are a huge trend this summer. But if it hasn't filtered down to your sister's world she could be forgiven for thinking PJs, cause really, floral palazzo pants do give a big huge nod to PJs. Which is why they are brilliant.

But they are going to need to stick around a few summers for people to get used to seeing them. They look great on you, just depends if you are comfy being cutting edge in your world!

(I compromised and got black ones. Just as comfy, more conformist. I'm much older than you are!)

Wow, all I can say is thank you all for the affirmations. By the time the vote was up to 7 with Day Vies vote, I had decided to go on with wearing them minus the hat and scarf. This thread had really blown up and I am shocked but I love it.

You all are not only stylish but affirmative truthful caring and kind in your responses. You have given me the best laughs of today I appreciate you all more than you could understand. My family and my people I love them but, they don't get me. And here on the tiny piece of infinite web you all get me and even if you don't you give very constructive feedback and for this I thank you all.

Isabel -it is totally cool lol my people and I love them are stuck. But, it's ok lol I try to help where I can but my sister thinks the height of fashion is sweat pants and I love her and would not change a hair on her head. I just try to persuade gently. Lol
