I see no pajamas AT ALL. You do look cute...you look awesomely fab.
As some other posters pointed out, I think we at YLF become so used to trying out new trends and seeing different silhouettes that we forget about what an "average" person on the street thinks of as fashion. This is especially difficult in the U.S., where street fashion is overly casual. I say, if you love your outfit, wear it and enjoy yourself!
Are you kidding me? This outfit is all sorts of FAB and it dies NOT look pajama-like! I love the bold blue with the patterned pants and the yellow accents are a perfect complement to the blue.
You know, though... A lot of people have been making comments to these pants to whoever wears them. I have a couple coworkers who absolutely love them and wear them quite frequently. Often, they get asked why they're wearing pajamas. I had once said to one of them that they're wearing something quite fashion forward and whoever is asking is just not aware!
Sign me up as not seeing PJs either. Plus, it's mostly how one wears the clothing, and I have a hard time imagining you wearing anything you do not rock. If they were PJs (which they're not), you'd rock those too and strike an amazing pose while doing so.
My fave part is the cobalt blue, but I have a weakness for cobalt blue in everything!
I did not want to tie up the boar but I have a confession to make these are real Pajamas. I bought them from the sleepwear section in the thrift store about 2 years ago a have slept and lounged in them. I don't remember where the inspiration came from maybe the heat but these are silk an they feel like heaven. Ah confession is good for the fashion soul.
Hahaha! Awwww ladywone! They look fabulous! Who has to know they're pajama pants? fashion's rules are meant to be broken if you look FABULOUS breaking them
I cast another yay vote. I really like the outfit! Like Day Vies, I am so-so about the hat & scarf with it, but the rest is just super pulled-together. And the hat would be fine if you really wanted to wear a hat. I think Peri has a good point about different reactions to printed, flowing pants. A lot of people might not "get" the sneaker trend going on right now, either, for that matter. Anyway, glad you wore your outfit with confidence today.
I love your outfit, period. I will tell you a story. I work in a program that provides therapy to children. One of our therapists picked up her little client from the waiting room and walked her back to her office. The therapist was wearing a new outfit from Anthropologie which she had selected carefully.
The child said, "Are you wearing your pajamas?" The therapist responded she was not.
"Ah," said the child. "These must be your comfy clothes."
