I've given up on flattering for comfort. This pullover is not one of Angie's faves. Considering returning. But it feels like I'm wrapped in warm clouds. can I make it JFE?

Lightened the photos to show shades and textures. Scarf turned out to be more kilt like than peplum like.

K/r pullover? Thoughts?

I actually kinda like it, especially how you have it styled kind of punky...you can so pull off those relaxed layers as a petite gal and look fashion-forward in them to my eye. That dark blue slouchy sweater vest we tried on at Ann Taylor? Well, it looked fab on you and Denise.

Hmm...just for kicks, have you tried it in a size down to see how it works or not?

I also like the sweater, it's definitely JFE, especially if it feels like warm clouds. Haha on the kilt, yes the scarf might be a bit long and stiff for this look. I wish I could see a picture of the original inspiration (Vicky), I didn't notice it when looking at all the pictures of your fab weekend.

I like the sweater and think a scarf that is a bit shorter would work really well. I also like the layers and the heavier boots balance out the chunkier knit.

There is something to be said for warm and cozy when it is cold and dreary out.

Hey girl! I love the proportions of this. Is it the color that Angie doesn't love about the sweater? You probably have another sweater that you could try this look with. I love the funky/cool/quirky vibe this creates, especially after having met you, seeing your cute face, cool specs and vivacious personality. It also helps that I saw Vicki sporting the "scarf under the sweater" look and learned that it was a J. Crew styling technique. I have to admit I was scratching my head at first!

That sweater does look super comfy & cozy. I actually think it works. Not so sure about the scarf under it, though. However, this is a new look for me and I think will be fun to play with. I'm just not super in love with the look here (ducking - maybe I'm not cool....).

Love it! Thank you for the nod. Then, of course I would like this, because I couldn't wait to try it once I saw it on several J. Crew models, both in the catalogue and in store windows.

I really like the way you did it here and I plan to do it again, less so on the side and more in front as you have done. One big reason I liked it was that I used a V-neck sweater and the Burberry plaid scarf filled in the area just enough to give my scrawny neck some additional coverage AND keep the back of my neck gently warm without having a scarf go around and around my neck in the traditional way.

I like your second picture a lot -- something about the proportions of the sweater with your leggings and boots feels very cozy to me and looks great. I'm a little baffled by the scarf, had to admit.

I really like Vicki's second picture of scarf-under-vneck-cardigan, worn directly in front. That makes much more sense to me, because the line of the scarf is more visible and the interruption, if you will, is much shorter. Otherwise I have to admit it looks kind of weird to me.

I am not sure about this look. I think my eye needs to adjust.

What doesn't Angie like about the sweater? (Of course, with the lightening up, it looks taupe, so I am all in love with it...) It does look incredibly soft and texturally rich. Great with those boots.

So what I see is that it's a little blocky without being fluid. But that's what JFE means, right? Not all about flattery but with other characteristics that make up for it.

It's got an olive flannel underlayer as a contrast to the warmish gray. This would be a big step for me because if i can't get it jfe, then i would be admitting to spending an outrageous sum to wear a pullover strictly at home. Just because it feels like being surrounded by warm puppies may not be enough. I could use the dosh to underwrite ssif purchases.

I admit I am bias but I think you look great in everything you try. The sweater as shown here looks a little more than JFE. Do you have a scarf that is just a little shorter? Have you tried moving the scarf to the sides slightly.

FWIW, I like the jumper better with the scarf layer detailing here because it offsets the cutting line on the hip in the previous rendition. It makes the jumper longer and more flattering.
