Definitely a statement piece! The combo of strong shoulder, long torso, and flared skirt works for my IT shape. The cotton is a medium weight so not good for my dominant hot summer season, but would work for transitions between seasons. I am slightly disappointed that the colors are murky. What I thought might be white or cream is actually a very pale pink. Also not sure if I will be fussing with the ties throughout the day. However, it's such a fun piece, I think I am willing to cut the tags unless the forum votes this dress off the island.
In October, I have tickets to a theater production of Into The Woods that they are performing outdoors and I think this dress would be just right for that.
Which shoes do you like better?
There are small shoulder pads to support the puffed sleeves and pic 6 shows how well those pads help hold up a scarf/shawl. Bonus!
