I like #2 a lot too! Agreeing that wide legs seem to work best in mild weather, when the top half isn't bulked up with layers.

I REALLY like the look of your wide leg pants. THAT is how I want mine to fit. I hope we can see some more experimentation with these bottoms. (I liked them in your ‘ancient shirt’ post. How about with the vest from your latter flat styling?

I like all of these looks. My favourite is with the R & B sweater. I wear my wide-leg pants with winter coats. I do wear wool knee-high socks or wool tights with them. My coats are fitted and not cocoon type.

Love how you styled these, Janet, they look brilliant. To my eye, your pairing with sneaks makes these look super current. I’m personally thrilled at the return of wide legs despite the fact they do not suit my figure at all. So freeing after all these years of skinnies.

Great outfits - I love them both. I agree that wide legs are hard to style. I have similar shape issues to you except am a lot shorter which makes the width even worse. Not sure full length wide legs are going to work for me.

I especially love nr 2-you are built to rock the new bootcuts!! BTW both are great and will continue to admire them on you (and others) only. I loved them with western boots/booties a decade (or more?) ago but I am not willing to bother myself- my body changed since then and I am almost sure I'll have to look for a needle in a haystack to make these work again on my plumpy (with apple midriff) self....:-((.
