I just received these 2 jcrew sleeveless tunics and thought I'd share because I do like them. I didn't style the first one much, just threw it on over some denim BF shorts. The second I did try with my white shorts (which are fitting like BFs now) and some floral chambray shorts, which are big and flowy but very light and comfortable for our hot summers.
They are both a loose, drapey kind of material but not overly thin - one is cotton with golden metallic side stripes, the other a tencel chambray that is very soft but has some structure to it. The arm holes give me just enough bra coverage to be satisfied and I think they will work well with my work at home mostly lifestyle. They feel really good on.
I really like how the side stripes of the navy tunic are elongating - worn with skinny jeans (tried last night but didn't take pic) it made me feel tall.
I'll have to see how they wash, I'm hoping for not too many wrinkles on the chambray popover. I don't have much experience with tencel fabrics.
1. Drapey chambray popover - jcrew
White BF shorts - AE
Floral chambray shorts - Gap
2. Metallic Side Stripe Top - jcrew (seems the navy is sold out)
BF shorts - KUT from the Kloth (a few years old)
Always love to hear your thoughts.
Edit: I decided after trying a size smaller of the chambray to return both. I just wasn't feeling the "wow" factor for something that was $60. I'm keeping the navy one.
