Thanks! You gals know I love cuffs, so that's definitely an option. Diane, I have had those shoes for maybe 8 years now, and I'm happy they haven't become too dated in that time. Sally, I DO need to figure out something to do with my hair. I'm overdue for a cut and am definitely not going to have time for one before Saturday.

Well this lovely outfit, the MaryJanes and your fun hair command a long string of pearls. And a clutch. What do you plan to wear as a topper? (You said no topper but it would be wise to at least have some back up in case of sudden freezing A/C). Something involving lace would fit well I think

I am generally in the too much jewellery is never enough camp so I would definitely add on (sorry Coco Chanel). Because you are wearing bare arms I think a cuff would be a good choice. You could also do dangly earrings if you like them. Hair accessories could be fun and festive too.

I like the idea of a sparkly bracelet or cuff, and big, dangly sparkly earrings. Or sparkly cuff and necklace, and small sparkles for earrings. And sparkly stockings--I have the ones below and really like them. To me, they look classy and subtle.

shevia, I wore a sleeveless dress last year and ended up having to take a walk outside to cool off. Lots of people in a small space. If I get too cold, I'll have wine to warm me.

Firecracker, I really like those tights! I might look for something similar, though I don't have a Nordstrom close enough to get to before the party. I don't have pierced ears (I've been able to have holes stay open, despite multiple attempts), so earrings are out, but I will follow everyone's advice and not shy away from more sparkle!

Update! The party was last night. I wore a sparkly tassel necklace and rhinestone bracelets, and carried a simple black clutch (with another tassel!) and a black pashmina, just in case. Despite it being frigid and snowing outside, the hotel bar was definitely kept at cocktail attire appropriate temperatures, and I never needed the wrap.

I felt quite appropriately dressed and, as a bonus, my fashion-averse husband let me drag him around the mall to put together an appropriate outfit for him, as well. I'm sad we never made it to the photo booth, but I did snap a few pics before leaving the hotel room. The last photo shows the lovely and cozy lobby of Hotel Teatro, the amazing boutique hotel that hosted the evening.

Thanks, Suz. Parties for tech companies are always so much of a tossup in terms of dress. The women were pretty consistent with the festive colors and sparkle, though. The guys were ALL over the place, from suits to jeans and flannel.

Thank you, Firecracker. When I went looking for necklaces, I really tried to balance between something that would fit the 20s feel of the tank and something I would be likely to wear again. I thought this necklace could slide into a more boho/ethnic slot if I wore it with other items in my wardrobe, which would make it more versatile for me than, say, a string of pearls.
