Happy New Year, everyone!!
I posted my planned New Year's Eve outfit yesterday, but as I was leaving the house I remembered that the invitation specified the dress code should be "warm but festive." Because I was overdressed at this same friend's Christmas open house, I didn't want to be inappropriate twice in a row, this time by being too casual. So I turned around and changed into something a little more sparkly and dressy.
Black sequined tank: JC Penney
Black pants: Comptoir Des Cotonniers
Plaid shirt: Old Navy
Red pumps: Madden Girl
"Gold" watch: Target
I was glad I'd changed because there was a lot of sparkle in the room and no denim except on the twentysomething guys. It's nice to have a fast fallback outfit even for a party!!
