What are "we" doing with white footwear moving into the next season? I finally jumped on board last spring, and ordered two pair of booties (one from Geox and one from Rebecca Minkoff). Sold the Geox's (poor fit) and have yet to wear the RM's (I'm chalking it up to a weather/seasonal thing - they are too visually and literally heavy for summer wear) but also feel a little "western" for my style. I didn't spend a ton on them - but still hate the idea of having bought the wrong thing for me. I bought a pair of white Naturalizer slides which I wore quite a bit throughout May and June, even though I don't really love them. Too cheap and bedroom slipper-ish looking and not interesting enough. I had tons of occasions to wear a white sandal but never did find a pair interesting and edgy/chic enough to attract my attention .

So - where is this white footwear trend going? Are "we" planning on wearing them this fall and winter? I see that Angie picked up a pair of white "dad" sneakers, but that's not the look I'm going for.

Should I be planning to work some outfits around the white booties, or is this trend done? I notice that there were no white booties featured in NAS , nor are there any around at retail here anymore.

Curious what you all think.
