It's that time of the year again. You know when it gets so hot that just the thought of wearing black pants makes you sweat. Well that's how I feel every summer and so began the grueling task. I searched high and low, combed through outlet racks, websites, and tried on about 15 different brands looking for the perfect white pant. Finally one rainy night at the Lord and Taylor Outlet, it happened. Just when I thought all hope was gone, there they were. The only white pant on the clearance rack. Well, they looked white from a distance but as I got closer my disappointment started to show. To my dismay, I pulled them from the rack and a two-tone black and white pant stared back at me. I check the size anyway and it was perfect. I was holding a size 12 white/black slim leg trouser by Tibi on clearance for $79. I took them home that night.

Here I paired them with a white Dolan crop shirt (doesn't look cropped on me, but that's ok) with angled lines and high heels to elongate my petite frame. What I love most about this pant is black panel starts in the front of the leg. This effect makes my legs look leaner than what they actually are. Hope you agree.
