Thank you so much everyone for the sweet comments and for playing my little game. I went to my step-sister's house for a skin care party. I was one of the more casual dressers at the party, but I didn't mind, and I fit in a little better with the few men who came. (Lots of women were in black with tons of shiny jewelry... Not so much because the situation warranted that level of dressiness, but because it is their collective style. But I was really tickled to see one woman in a short full black skirt, jean jacket and cowboy boots!) I really had wanted to get your input to help me decide which to wear, but since I ran out of time, I picked the #1 - the red accents. I have never worn this outfit together (either version) even though I've had all the pieces for a while. To be honest, #2 is truly more "me" but it felt great to go with a little more contrast and a more complicated color palate. Combining the purple/grey with red felt so fashionable somehow and I got to wear the vintage silver and glass cameo bracelet my sister gave me. In #2, I did love how the little gold buttons would have matched the gold watch and ring, but I also felt that the tank was just a bit too short untucked. Overall, I am happy to have a new (to me) outfit that I can wear two ways!
