I'll admit I am picky about prints. I tend to like strong statement graphic and abstract prints in acid colors, or whimsical prints (forest, galaxy, animals). Also love ethnic prints but not boho clothing styles, which is where they tend to show up.
Like many here, I'm always instantly attracted to the most expensive results of any search, even before I know the price. Designers I like to ogle include Missoni, Pucci, Erdem, Etro, McQueen, Mary Katrantzou, Ted Baker, Marni, Milly, Dolce & Gabbana, Cavalli, and on a slightly less unaffordable scale, DVF and Equipment.
Where do you all find out of the ordinary patterns and prints at prices for ordinary people? I am feeling a bit exhausted by the endless search for patterned items in my colors that will liven up my winter wardrobe. I have combed through Shopstyle, Yoox (which is like an Olympic event), and trawled the net at large. This is the HEWI of HEWIs for me! Or do I need to commission Janet to print up some fabric for me? While brands like Donna Morgan and Eliza J. come up, those are a little too staid for me in style and print...
Or maybe I just need some unicorn print because that's what I'm really hunting!
