I'm so happy that so many of you supported my idea of a dress week. And what a week it's been! I've seen so many of you in fabulous dress or skirts outfits. I feel that the total efforts of YLF this week should be recorded, so I suggest that we all either re-post the pics we have from the challenge here, or at least link to the relevant posts. I'm posting my pics as a starting point.

I hope everyone takes time to complete this list so all the fabness in the YLF dress/skirt territory gets documented.Thank you for joining the challenge!

Ingunn thank you for initiating this challenge and what a fabulous week you had! Different looks but all so lovely.
I've actually been wearing a lot of dresses lately and plan to continue because it's just so easy in summer.

Great idea, Ingunn! I'm going to make this thread one of my favorites so that I can come back to it for ideas later on.

Ingunn, I am so sorry that I didn't get to participate in the challenge until now - I so love the challenges here on YLF! It was a crazy busy week - my mother-in-law had breast cancer surgery and the whole family was in town for three days. When things calmed down a little, I did manage to snap a photo of one of only two dresses that I own (serious wardrobe hole!).

The first photo is the dress the way I wore it - as a skirt, with a yellowish green tank under it, and my watercolor-ish camo sweater (it photos like a watercolor print, but looks more like a camo print IRL) and the second photo is the dress on its own.

The third photo is another outfit I wore this week, but the photo is from when I wore it once before. I love wearing this maxi with my Chuck Taylor's, I think it looks casual and fun!

I never did get to wear my only other dress - sleeveless with polka dots (my favorite!) - because the weather turned cold and rainy

It is strange to say this again for what must be the third time in June: the synchronicity of the universe astounds me. Ingunn sets up this challenge, and this turned out to be a week of celebrating happy events with friends: a birthday, and a wedding, among other things!

Here are my dresses, and skirts-worn-like-dresses outfits for this week (although for everyday, I generally wear shorts or pants):

#1 - girlfriend's Birthday at a hoity-toity restaurant and dancing after. (Nicole Miller dress, Charles Jourdan pumps, long pearl necklace doubled up)
#2 - Planning meeting for my theatre group, and then I swapped the skirt for yoga pants for dance class. (Target skirt - $7 clearance! Target Bolero, Target necklace - $5.98 clearance! Sorry, I get reeeeeally excited about clearance finds. Forever XXI cami, Nine West Pumps - $25 clearance!)
#3 - Acting class and work. Norma Kamali/Everlast skirt, Forever XXI tank, Bolero from online, Rachel Zoe sandals, pearl jewelry
#4 - Working from home and lunch with a girlfriend. I picked this for the hot weather, the total was far dressier than the sum of its parts: Free People tank, that same Kamali skirt, Rachel Zoe sandals, Target clutch, pearl jewelry
#5 - Evening Garden Party/Wedding reception for a friend's elopement. The invitation was unclear as to the dress, but this turned out to be just right: Wolford bodysuit, Kamali skirt, vintage belt, bunch of bracelets, diamond studs, Nine West pumps. And like My Name is Earl, I had my eyes closed when the BF snapped the photo.

This was such a great challenge Ingunn, thank you!

I did not participate, because my legs are really bruised at the moment. A rolling folding shopping cart fell on me - we use those here in NYC for everything - and I have a few large bruises
However, I have been cheering from the sidelines... I will be coming to this thread for inspiration, for sure. My favorite of your set is #4, so fab! I also love, #2 from Krista and #1 from Jjsloane.

ETA : WOW La Belle. Can you ship those ASAP to me? So right up my alley! Karie's #2 is such a fab dress. I want it too.

This was a really fun challenge. I only did four days of dresses because on Monday I had to copy Angie's fun skirt-and-blouse combo, but I guess we are counting skirts so it's all good! Here's my week!

Thank you for suggesting this challenge, Ingunn. Here are mine. This gave me a chance to start to evaluate my summer dresses. 5 is a skirt and to, but the rest are dresses. All are sleeveless under the topper.

Thanks so much Ingunn for a fun challenge! I had lots of fun wearing dresses...not that that's any different than my usual! And today I copied Karie in her maxi skirt and cons--waving at Karie! The first five are for work and the last two for weekend MOTG.

It's more of a skirt week than a dress week, so I apologize in advance, but here are mine!

I don't think they're in the right order (just pulled them out of the folder), but there you go...

Here are mine:

1. This is a navy RL knit dress that I learned about from Suz.
2. Casual day outfit in blue and white.
3. Raspberry dress from Target. It is a sentimental favorite, not sure if it still looks good (didn't realize it needed ironing).
4. As previously posted, wearing a calico dress to yoga.

Wow - such WONDERFUL outfits ladies! You all look gorgeous (and have fabulous legs if you don't mind me saying!).

Here are my dress outfits - only four though as I wore white jeans on Friday.

I love seeing all the fab dress outfits on others Skinnies and trousers seems to be my FFBO these days. Very strange, because last year was all about skirts and dresses.

Thanks for the challenge, Ingunn! I wore all 5 of the dresses that I own, but don't have a pic for Friday, because I rode my bike to and from work, and wore gear for the ride! Monday- Thursday below. Got to say the post YLF purchases (Magic dress and colourblock shift) are the better outfits...
