Oooh. Great question.
I like the options offered so far. One I'd add is:
Quality lower than what I expect from this brand or at this price.
Not as described or pictured. (Echoes several suggestions above).
But also: Online description inadequate. (Hoping to encourage them to give more relevant info online to help with purchasing.)
I think mentioning many fit issues related to body type modifiers on a returns label probably won't help much -- at that point in the process, they just want generalities.
What could help designers and makers -- if they paid attention -- is offering specifics in a review that includes the specifics of your body type.
The least helpful online reviews for me are those where someone simply says (using examples I might give personally due to my body type modifiers) rise too short, too loose on side-body, too long, too snug in thighs --- without saying anything about the reviewer's size, measurements, etc.
The most helpful reviews are those that give specific information like that along with the particulars of the reviewer's body type. The top that "pulls" on April is likely to "sag" on me. Staysfit's "too short" arms are going to droop past my hands. Unless I know the reviewer's body type, it's hard to judge comments and imagine how they pertain to me. I also think it would surely help if makers were transparent about their fit models, as we discussed elsewhere!
