What to wear to a funeral?

I am new here

What would you wear at a funeral?
Please help me to choose a funeral appropriate dress and heels?

I am 20 yo, and i would also ask for funeral appropriate dress/shoes for my mom.

Ultimately I go with dark, understated and not attention grabbing. But it doesn’t have to be black.

At my age bracket, I attend quite a few of these functions. When one is over 70' many contempories are dying. I generally avoid black unless it. Is acccompianied with something like tan, camel or such. This only because I feel black is reserved for family. Colors I choose are navy, olive, brown, dark wine , do not wear skinny heels if you will be going graveside on grass.
