What to wear???

I have an ice-cream party to attend.. Very causal... family style!!!

Thinking of wearing either one of the comnbination shown here... Mostly 5 or 6...
I will be going there from work... Would this work?

I like 5 the best. I think that will be relaxed and casual. Yum! an ice cream party sounds nice

I think 5, with a long topper. Maybe a drapey cardigan, or an unbuttoned button-up shirt? I'd like to see something to add vertical softness and break up all the horizontals.

Oh I just left feedback on your linked thread. #5. I also like #2, very blogger chic! But you would need statement footwear to pull off #2 and make the whole outfit look fashion-y and intentional, while #5 will work with neutral footwear.

I would definitely go with #5. It gray shirt matches the gray in the skirt perfectly. Also it's dressy enough but still casual. It doesn't look like you're trying too hard. Have a good day.

I like #5. Both pieces are machine washable, right? I wouldn't want you to have to worry about ice cream and chocolate sauce drips!

I vote 6! Makes me think of sweets. And a very bold but not too busy pattern mix that I also feel is comfy enough to be casual at a famil-style event and flatters your complexion better.

5 because ditto what RachyLou said. Also, taupe and pink is a lovely pairing and suggests chocolate and strawberry icecream. Have a fun party.
