If any of you watch The Voice you know my nephew left the show on Monday. While the outcome was fast and brutal (I believe the credits were actually rolling) he had an overall great experience. The singers are all so very talented and just genuinely nice people. The production staff are all tremendously patient and work truly insane hours.

Photo 1 is a picture I took of Riley in the wardrobe department after his final fitting. I thought he looked very "Mad Men" with the burgundy suit, skinny black tie and even a tie clip. The wardrobe department is amazing with rows upon rows of clothing racks. One of the country singers walked by carrying 3 boxes of top of the line cowboy boots that they had ordered for him. I also saw a shelf piled with boxes of Stetson cowboy hats.

Photo 2 is of Riley's little sister and I in the van on our way to the show. My sister was able to make it in for the show so she and I traded guardian duties and the was able to be with Riley the entire day.

Photo 3 is what I wore: a draped Pleione cobalt top that I semi-tucked into a pair of black Old Navy ankle pants and my trusty ballet flats. I am so glad I wasn't in heels. We had less than two minutes to move all of the Team Adam family members from the out-of- camera seats to the on-camera seats. I probably would have managed to fall down the risers if I had been in heels!
