Have not looked at other responses:

I say you look much better in the darker colour. And I think I TOO would look better in the darker colour. It has to do with the fact that you have dark, dark hair.

Keep up these posts if you want. I love figuring out colours!

Oh and I just saw your other picture with the scarf and think the pale colour is much better with the scarf.

Not that it’s bad without. Both are good.

Actually, I take back everything and totally agree with Angie.
Also agree about your comment about social distancing haha!

Have not looked at the responses but I am going to say the deeper rose. Gave me Kate vibes right away .

With this scarf is superb. It can take a while to feel comfortable in loud colours. I say this as a reformed all black clothes wearer in my teens.

Both pinks are amazing on you, but without reading the other responses, I’m really drawn to the softer pink right now. But you look great in both pinks and you should wear them both!

Love the addition of the scarf to the soft pink and agree you wear both roses well. Thanks for sharing your update!

Thanks so much for playing along everyone! I am itching for some sort of colour challenge now to amuse me (Smittie any ideas??) ... Not really in line with my project 333 but desperate times!! Off to Google now

I think the game of “put on two colours and let us judge” is the funnest game of them all , lol!

Both colors are flattering on you, but they have different moods. The softer shade seems more calming and nurturing - which might be a good choice if you're feeling anxious or unsettled.

The deeper shade has energy, and might be the perfect thing if you're feeling a little down and want a pick-me-up.

La Belle, very good way of thinking about it! Smittie - shall we start a thread??

TG, you look terrific in both shades of pink . I agree with LaBelle's comment about both shades having different moods. However, I find the lighter shade of pink, which reminds me of cherry and dogwood blossoms, makes your skin glow.

I much prefer you in the soft pink compared with the stronger pink -- the stronger color wears you, while in the softer shade I see you and your gorgeous complexion. This is not what I expected to see as I personally favor a stronger pink for myself.

Late to this. Before reading responses I picked the brighter pink. Both looked good, but I forced myself to commit. Then I was the scarf pic and that is my favorite. Super interesting thread!

I am late to this but like the dark pink alone and the soft pink with the scarf and contrast. I tend to liking some contrast though in most instances.

I might play along with colours one day. Maybe even today:)

I much preferred the stronger pink but I think it was partly my personal bias against dusky colours. I think your scarf solution really works for the light pink.
