What do you know. I really do look like Veronica Mars

Back when the show came out, friends kept telling me, "You've got to watch Veronica Mars -- she's just like you!". I didn't watch it then and hadn't really seen Kristen Bell in anything else. Well, with the movie recently out, we've finally decided to watch the TV show. I have to admit they're right -- I DO look a lot like her! Or she looks like me. At least, that's what I looked like twelve years ago, right down to the flippy blond hair and casual surf style. (I'm really getting a kick out of how dated the low-rise, flared jeans she wears in the show are looking. Ah, the memories). I dress differently now, and my hair is totally different, but even my husband has to admit, after watching the whole first season, that she looks, talks and acts a lot like me. Funny.

Is there a celebrity whose looks, style and personality remind people of you?

Aziraphale, you do look like Kristen Bell! So fun, and now you can use her as a style inspiration (if her current style appeals to you). She is a gorgeous yet a bit 'girl next door' - lovely!

I have been told over the last couple of years that I look like Kate Middleton. I make no claims about it, but will take the compliment! I love her casual styles so I do see her a style role model for me.

I've been told over the years I look like Renee Zellweger, ala Bridget Jones Diaries. DH told me that on our first date, and proceeded to nickname me "Zell" -- he used that as his code-name for me at work, when his coworkers asked how it was going with us, so when I first met them, they all called me Zell for awhile. Then a few years later, DH and I took the kids to visit friends in Japan. We were out and about, and suddenly a mob of students surrounded me and wanted to take their pic with me. At first I thought it was the blonde hair, but nope, they wanted the pic just with me, not my DD's, who are even blonder. That's when our friend asked and translated for us: they thought I was Renee Zellweger. Who was in town that week. So yeah, we let them think I was her.

I've been likened to Audrey Hepburn and Winona Ryder. Unfortunately, I think it is only a small likeness--I don't look nearly as fab! :^) I think people liken me to these two celebrities because they both have dark hair and dark eyes and are pixie looking, which describes me as well.

I have been told a couple times that I look like Kristen Johnston from 3rd Rock from the Sun. My sister used to get Daryl Hannah all of the time! Oh, I wish I got Daryl Hannah but I'll take Kristen.

Heh, the Tina Fey comment also included a caveat that the observer noticed a resemblance to a certain former Alaska governor who shall not be named. She hesitated to mention that one, with the apology, "Well, at least she *is* a good-looking woman. Maybe it's just the glasses."

Perhaps I need new glasses.
