what category of items do you wear the least?

I seldom wear dresses, but that is because there are few occasions to wear them. Other than the dresses, I find I seldom wear scarves or flats. Mostly do not wear flats as I have flat heeled booties, and flat sandals that I prefer to wear. I have not worn maxi skirts even in the hotter weather last year. It also has been over a year since I have worn a skirt. I did buy a skirt recently and as soon as it gets warmer and I get it hemmed I plan to wear it. Also am considering a casual tincel or linen shirt dress for hot weather as an alternative to pants.

Pumps. I never ever wear them! I have one emergency pair but have managed to avoid them forever. With my duck feet it's hard to find a style that fits that I like.

T-shirts. I sleep in them and that's it. So for me, I can't get past the sleep wear connotation.

Knitted Tops. I have ONE.

Cardigans. I have zero in my wardrobe.

Sandals. I have ONE pair, and have yet to wear them.

Skirts. I have 3 or 4, but I can't remember the last time I wore one. Blazers. So NOT into layering in my early 50s. Dresses...trying to do better here.

It varies by season, since my seasons are so extreme.

In winter, I rarely wear dresses or skirts; in summer I wear them frequently.

I rarely wear true shoes. I wear boots, booties, and sandals. Again, due to seasons. It is rare that we have temperatures that are right for closed footwear without socks.

Up until Summer 2015, I would have said shorts. (Hadn't worn them since my teen years.) They have been added to my summer wardrobe. I very rarely wear pumps over 2 inches -- only worn for the dressiest of occasions where I will be (mostly) sitting.

Heels and Sandals: against doctor's orders
Trousers or Dressy pants: I would rather wear dresses
Swim suit: Kansas does not have a beach. Not into water sports
Maxi skirts and dresses. I'm too short. Mini skirts. I'm too old.

Things that I very rarely wear and have very few of/don't buy:

-t shirts -- I have a few old ones for gardening
-knitted tops that aren't sweaters
-sandals (I have one pair that's an exception)

Things that I rarely wear now, but have worn in the past so I still have in my closet:

-dresses
-tights/leggings (exceptions for black or navy tights and two pairs of heavier black leggings).

Have to think for a minute, fun question. I would say I do not wear heavy winter wear like coats, hats, scarfs etc., slacks, maxi skirts, hose. Living in Southern California which is basiclly desert, its important to stay cool.

Except for church, I have not reached for my dresses and skirts as much as I have in the past.

I have a drawer full of scarves and have only reached for them a couple of times this past winter.

I have two denim vests I haven't worn in a long while.

Aside from true occasionwear, I do have two evening jackets, one sequinned cardigan and one evening silk top that I rarely pull for. This is partly because I tend to wear dresses for special night time events. I am considering passing two of these pieces on but will keep the silver raw silk crop jacket (it has been worn twice and is quite fab) and the green print silk blouse.

I think they probably are almost orphans as I don't own the right evening pants to wear with them, and have slightly gone away from the jeans with a dressy top look.

I wear day dresses a lot, and seize any chance I can to wear my lovely heels.

I never wear pumps, ballet flats, loafers or any shoes other than boots, sandals and sneakers. I don't wear trousers or athleisure stuff much but love jeans.

Like Brooklyn, I never wear pumps, ballet flats, or loafers! Like Suz, I go from boots and booties to sandals. I never, ever wear scarves, although I admire them on others. I have 2 pairs of ill-fitting trousers that I'm thinking of passing along, due to lack of wear. I have a couple of maxi skirts hanging in my closet than never get worn, but I hope to wear the one maxi dress that's also in there this summer. We'll see!

Oh, and hats. I never like the way they look on me.

Slacks/trousers. I own a pair of grey wool trousers that still have the tags. They are quite ice, and I can picture wearing them, but I never do.

I think I wear everything else in my closet.

I never wear pumps, loafers, long shorts, cutoff pants, and track pants. I rarely wear coats because of the weather here.

I have some beautiful dressy dresses, but I rarely have the occasion to wear them. I know I should pass them on, but I'm not ready yet...

I did keep a few of my late mom's hats for Easter, haven't passed on my two pairs of pumps, should throw out my swimsuit that is decades old, never owned a maxi, need to decide if I should pass on that sole cardigan, will keep that one cocktail sheath (for now), have no winter coat or tall boots because my weather is too mild. I just won't visit my daughter in winter.

I think I misinterpreted the question.

At the moment I am not wearing

- most skirts (suspect this is about to change:))
- suits (no need)
- knit tee shirts (fit and wear issues, moving to woven tees or light sweater vests)
- button down shirts (fit issues, and avoiding collars)

ONe thing I forgot, I don't own or wear leggings. Since they are not pants, and don't have pockets, I have no need for them. I do have 2 pairs of opaque tights that get a bit of wear in our few colder months, especially at night like in December.

Sure are a lot on not wearing pumps and ballet flats.

I was going to say trousers, but I have actually been wearing my lovely handed down ones from Lyn D quite a lot..

So - pumps and ballet flats

I have a shallow heel, and they will not stay on my feet. I need straps/high vamp/ boots. It is rather sad, as I have short legs and could do with the lengthening these provide.
