I tend to get fixated on a type of item, a few at a time, and I thought it would be fun to see what everyone else is perseverating on.

Vests….the first one especially…but i run cold so not sure that a vest is the right thing for me…but i I’m really digging the 70s vibe and want one…and i did pull the trigger on find #4 last night, its from the TheRealReal, and was pretty inexpensive for leather, and its navy, not quite a 70s vibe, but it just looked so interesting and different from anything that i own

Black midi/maxi dresses. The one in the photo is arriving today, and I already own the ones in Finds.

Duster-length toppers. I own the ones in Finds, but I'm always drawn to them while shopping.

Also: cropped wideleg pants and boxy tops.

I honestly think I could probably live with a wardrobe of just these four types of items, plus some layering tanks, footwear, and accessories.

Chewy, several years ago I gave my mother a necklace like your earrings. I really love fossils. We have an interesting rock store here in town.

I love EF’s puckered linen. It’s a checked seersucker. I bought a top last year and have added a couple other things, including this dress. The color is called moon and really works for me with my nearly white hair.

Clothing-wise? Nah. I just need to make myself follow through on the ideas for a top and a workout skirt that I’ve posted recently.

Last summer I liked the super-fuzzy sandals that basically look like slippers and high-waisted, wide-legged full length pants. Decided against the first and ran out of steam on the second.

Oh, and I was supposed to get a fancy, baroque-y possibly embroidered/ tapestry long topper a year or two ago. It’s still on my list too.

I know it seems dumb, but after my navy puffer was pilfered, I was obsessed by trying to replace it. It was N/A online, and Uniqlo shops are located 1 hour or more away. I must have looked at a million navy puffers - but didn’t find anything I liked as much. Though I knew there was a very high likelyhood I would find one in the fall, I obsessed about that puffer every day!

DH decided we needed to hit up the shops in the Big City, and we visited a mall that had a Uniqlo. They still had some old winter stock, and I found an exact replacement for my missing puffer!

I tend to obsess over HEWI’s - like my fisherman’s sandals. My current ‘new’ obsession is white jeans, and finding the perfect non-skinny pair.

I was recently rather preoccupied with white and cream loafers - and found them. (Replaced some battered pairs). The Paul Greens and Carvelas won - (one dressy and one casual) - but the Hispanitas came close. Looked for ages and tried on lots of options. Patience pays off!

Lots of eye candy on this thread!

I am trying to decide whether to buy a new winter coat. I want something knee length, single breasted and without dropped shoulders. I don’t need one and coats are expensive - and at the moment wrap coats, oversized coats and double breasted are more available.

Pretty much the same as Lana. I'm really happy with my new sandals (wearing the white ones today!) and am considering updating my black sandals as well. Part of me is still tempted to duplicate the Sorels in orange.

Not a whole lot at retail is thrilling me this year. I really don't care for current trends. The stuff I am buying is sort of outside the trends. I'm low-key keeping an eye out for more summer dresses or skirts, and maybe another pair of lightweight summer pants, but certainly not to the level of obsession.

This spring my obsession was RINGS. On my big long road trip adventure I ended up buying four, but there are such fabulous sterling silver and stone rings out in the west it was hard to resist.

Currently going for comfort-wide leg elastic waist pants, and wearing these comfort sandals (have two pair multi color, and navy--may get off white-replacing my collection of flip flops, although I still wear the flip flops around the house.

Right now I am obsessed with finding summer pieces of dark navy, coral and white. This will be a summer and travel capsule.

Angie’s finds have me craving white loafers. I need new ones unless my feet swell in heat this year. The old ones have stretched out too much.

Hmmm…not quite an obsession but I bought 4 white bottoms this spring after a few years of not liking/wearing what I had. After donating those items, I quickly found better replacements: full length white straight denim, cropped ecru denim, white denim Bermuda’s, and white chino shorts. As Angie would say, I feel sorted

Lets see... Wide leg linen pants and these oversized popover "borrowed from the boys" shirts from French Connection.

I bought three of the popover blouse. Which is nuts. I'm crazy for the way these look when I try them on and swish around in fron of the mirror, but honestly, they are so loose they might freak me out to wear without a cami under. Which somewhat defeats the purpose of them being cool and breezy. I haven't committe to any of them yet. Still just dating!

I might also be a bit obsessed with these flowered pants.

Like @Janet, clothing isn't grabbing me much these days. May I talk about 2 accessories I bought recently instead?

1) I bought these Chocolate Rainbow Earrings on a bit of a whim to support a new Etsy seller (had originally wanted another style). But they've turned out to be an unexpected workhorse! The colours are subtle enough to go with everything, but the design is also fun enough to add a little something to casual outfits. And the seller is really nice to boot!

2) Whilst mine are from a local seller, these Cherry Earrings have also become an unexpected (slightly dressier) workhorse. They're lightweight enough to not interfere with mask wearing, & the unique closure (you push the 'stem' into the 'fruit') makes me happy each time I use them!

I’ve been trying to find brown sandals. I tried last year (and possibly the two summers prior) and had to settle for light beige, which is useful but didn’t fill all the holes. I think I’ve finally sorted a refined pair and a a more casual, trendy pair. When Janet posted these Seychelles they caught my eye because I don’t like to wear closed toed sandals (i.e. traditional fishermen sandals) and the Seychelles loafers I bought last fall have been MVPs for both comfort and style.

The Munro I think will fit the bill when I need something more refined but still eminently walkable for business trips.

My other searches have been for been short sleeve or lightweight collared shirts for summer and my eternal for opaque white tee and button down shirts. I had some surprise success with the former at Old Navy with these 100% cotton shirts. The first three are winners I found in the store, the pink one is still on its way to me, so we’ll see.
