I'm not into creative challenges, per se, (every day is a creative challenge professionally, so I prefer to just view, rather than do) but......what I'm interested in is what you're thinking about doing/wearing/purchasing this spring based on last year's successes/fails. I just finished a few hours of browsing through some sold spring presentations at the Calgary Nordstrom (oh my god!!!!!), J Crew, BR, CM etc in a city where the collections are full-on. I'm curious what the rest of you are seeing, what is striking your fancy, etc.
My first let-down today was not finding a citron bag in Nordstrom. Or anywhere for that matter. Was surprised that even though Nord carries mid-priced (and even quite lower priced) clothing, the bag department was strictly designer/high-end. Anyways, I was inundated with spring and I loved it. I'm still plotting and planning for Spring - not sure yet what I really want, but I'm in full-on spring mode! That could also be because I'm in Calgary today, where the sun is shining, the sky is cloudless, the temp is well above 0 (celcius) and there is NO SNOW. I can see the mountains from my hotel room window, and I feel so much better than I did when I left cold and snowy Wpg this morning. However, my big take-away from Nordstrom this afternoon (and i have been in their stores many times- South Coast Plaza and Seattle, but not in a few years, and man am I out of practice !) ) was that I need to be a whole lot thinner and need a much bigger bank account
