Working from home today, getting ready for another zoom presentation I’m giving tonight. I mentioned my rather old but still loved collection of argyle sweaters, so I thought I’d wear this one today. I’m having trouble pinpointing what year I bought this, but it’s at least a decade old. I remember getting it at the Esprit store that used to be in the closest mall, it may have been shortly after it opened which would mean 13 years ago! I’ve always been partial to cornflower and periwinkle shades of blue, and they are nearly impossible to find lately, so as long as this stays in good shape and fits me, I’m keeping it. I think it’s all high-quality cotton too, which is not so easy to find now.
I got these BlankNYC joggers about three months ago at TJMaxx and really like them. Comfortable but better looking than old sweatpants. I was going to wear my slippers but decided to feel a little more dressed by wearing my white Adidas sneakers instead.
I have a Uniqlo thin layering tee underneath for warmth and comfort, and this Uniqlo cashmere scarf can get thrown on if my office feels chilly.
I actually have a little makeup on and a ring and earrings for the zoom meeting, not that anyone is likely to notice.
Bonus Sunny and Woody pic from today’s walk, which took us to a nearby deserted historical site. There’s an old stone and brick house there that has some amazing pre-civil war history, and an enormous copper beech tree that must date back to the same era.
