Weird when you see your Name in Retail

I can't tell you how many times I gotten this line before(usually from men)after I tell them my name "so what is your secret?". However, Victoria Secret is one of my favorite stores and my DH calls it "your store", lol

Claire's Boutique. Cheap and cheerful, just like me!

A few weeks ago I was at an outlet mall when a flock of tween girls started jumping up and down shouting, "Claire's, Claire's, Claire's!" I walked past, wondering how they knew me. I couldn't for the life of me place them, but I smiled and gave them my best royal wave anyway. A few steps later I realized they were begging their moms to let them go to the boutique which bears my name. And here I thought I had a fan club!

Nope. My name only appears in a bad Styx song! BTW -- I wondered if you are originally an "Angelique." I disliked the ordinary quality of my name as a child, and for about a year I introduced myself as "Angelique." Yup. After blond vixen vampiress, from the original vampire saga, "Dark Shadows."

Yes, and I am a total sucker. One doesn't see my name spelled the I do...so I totally get caught up. But I do more so with something named after my sister or mother. They both have unusual names. I almost bought a pair of winter boots that I just didn't need and were very expensive for me because they had my sister's name.
