After seeing responses from some of the wisest YLFers about benefits of posting WIW's, I am posting my outfits for last two weeks. I have decided to take pics of all my outfits during the week and post them on YLF to see how I can use comments and suggestions to up my style quotient this year and hopefully get some clear direction as to where I am going with my wardrobe.

Mona, I like all the outfits. You really know what styles of clothing suit your body-type. My favourite is outfit no.7.

My favorites are #4 and #7, and I love the scarf in #1 and #6. While you do look great in black pants, my fav pic is #7 with the red pants - do you have any other colored pants or skirts? I don't know what your climate is like, but it's cold here so I often wear skirts with fleece lined tights.
The length and style of the black sweater in pic #7 is very flattering!
Where did you get the leopard print scarf?

You hair is SUCH a statement. Wild and sultry. It's hands down your best accessory.

Of these #8 is my best! You look amazing in white.

I love 7, it is so cheerful! And the boots and scarf are so nice together. And 8! that jacket is outstanding. What a great fit and more interesting than the average denim jacket.

I really love 6 and 7. The proportions of each piece seem just right and I like the colors and patterns a lot.

I prefer #4 to #5. The simplicity is nice. The layering in 5 looks a bit uncomfortable to me. Perhaps if the sweater were a little looser it would work better.

You do have beautiful hair. I like all the looks, I think my favorites are 6 and 7. I like the blush color on you in 3, but am not wild about the fit of it (could be how you are posed)

Hi Mona -- I agree I see nothing to add. I guess I'd want to know why you felt your style was lacking. All of them look dynamic young and appropriate for your age. I especially LOVE the lines on that denim jacket in #8

I think I work at a slightly different frequency than all of you as #7 was one of the outfits I was not happy with. The reason being flats. I always feel that being short legged I need a little bit of heel. Flats make me look and feel stumpy. These are new Steve Madden flats from my recent shopping trip to States( pics added at the bottom) I love the sparkles on them and also the high vamp so they don't show my socks.
Karie, I live in eastern Ontario where we have long and cold winters. I own one pair of fleece tights but I am not much of a skirt person. I am just not used to wearing them. The leopard pashmina scarf is a birthday gift from hubby. He got it in King of Prussia mall in states. I think it was from a small store. I dont remember the name now.

Jeanne, you are right about the blush tunic. This was pre-YLF purchase and I just loved the colour and cowl neck so I bought it without giving much thought to the fit. Somehow, it makes my hips look a mile wide.

Stunning! #1, #2 and #7 are my favorites.

All of these look great to me. It seems like you have really figured out what works for you. You look polished and stylish in every one of these. I can't pick a favorite but I will disagree about the blush tunic. I think it shows off your hourglass figure. I really like it on you. My least favorite is #2 probably because it looks conservative. I like you in the sassier looks better. I'm hard pressed to offer any suggestions for improvement because you look so good in all of these. Are you trying to make a style direction change?

I absolutely love your looks. And living in the same city, I can see right away how appropriate they are for our environment. They are casual, yet several steps up from what it's typical to see around here -- very well thought out, and extremely flattering to you.

If I had to pick favourites I'd say 1, 7, and 8 -- but ALL are terrific. So yes -- the real question now would be are you looking to evolve your style in some way?

Skinnies with tall boots is such a FAB combo on you! I like #3 the best. That sweater tunic gives you an hourglass shape.

I agree with Angie that your hair is your best statement accessory. YLF!

What a fabulous fortnight you've had. Stylish looks that also look relaxed and easy.

ADORE #7. One short woman to another: You do NOT look stumpy. I think the perfect fit and lines of the cardigan actually draw beautiful, gently curved verticals that continue the lines of the skinnies. This is GREAT.

My next favourites are #2 (love the necklace with that!) and #4. Like Amy, I'm not as keen on #5, in comparison (same reason).

Also: Way to go about remixing! The outfits in #1 and #6 especially --- both equally fab, with just the one small change that goes from sleeker, more sophisticated, ever-so-slightly dressier and on to more fun, upbeat, energetic, eye-catching. Nicely done, indeed!
