My nieces and nephews are hitting that age. I suddenly have mid summer weddings to attend in Anchorage, and Honolulu a week later. Hawaii is "garden party formal" with the note outdoor and on grass. Alaska will semi formal in the land of the midnight sun.

I tried on maybe 20+ dresses yesterday and this was the best compromise. It is returnable locally, so if I find something better, I'm good. Long and flowy, so I wouldn't need to wear hose in the tropical heat (a first for me and my white limbs!).

I liked the lighter color, but non-white background. The neckline allows a regular bra and pectoral coverage, which is nice. The model must be very tall in the petite size, because I need a 2"+ heel for my 5'2" frame with the petite.

Honest feedback? I am looking for better ideas, and/or ways to style and comfy WIDE shoes that will survive outdoor on grass (thinking silver or white wedge sandal?). Fit and flattery (the SA talked me out of sizing up)? Necklace? Wrap or shrug (for Alaska?). Gorgeous packable sunhat for Hawaii? Thanks for any help!
