I rec'd all of the potential wedding guest outfits (see my previous thread https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....est-outfit), and I've narrowed them down to two with your help: the teal velvet dress and the yellow velvet skirt. I'm not sure which to choose; they both have pros and cons.

I've added some pics of both, with different footwear, to get your opinions. Note that I had to take these photos with my computer's video camera (giving me a grand total of three seconds to run to a spot before the photo is taken), and the lighting in my apartment is really terrible, even during the day. I tried to overexpose some of the pics so that you could get a sense of the pattern on the dress. It's really hard to see.

For the velvet skirt, I don't know that I will be able to find a suitable top in time, so I have styled it here with a sleeveless top and a moto jacket over the top. The moto will need to stay on during the entire time I'm at the wedding, since the sleeveless top is pretty skimpy in the armpit area.

I'm adding finds for the footwear since it's kind of hard to see in the pics.

Please forgive no hair styling or makeup!

1. Teal dress with Cole Haan OTK boots. I've overexposed this so you can see the pattern.

2. Same.

3. Same with dark brown Aquatalia Rhumba boots.

4. Same with Pour la Victoire lace-up booties (see find; the detail doesn't show up well in pics).

5. Cleavage shot! The wrap dress (which is actually a faux wrap) goes quite low in the front. What are people's thoughts about the appropriateness of this?

6. Velvet skirt with Pour la Victoire lace-up booties.

7. Velvet skirt with Cole Haan OTK boots.

These pics were taken with nude micro-fishnets. I also have black micro-fishnets if you think it would be better, or I could do sheer black hose.

Thanks for the help!
