I love those shoes and you look so cool in them! (Way cooler than me lol, I used to love Vans as a teen and still adore the look but these days my feet are having none of them. Sigh.)

Nice lacing skills! Olukaki makes very comfy sandals, so I bet the sneakers are nice!

I love both pairs of sneakers, with special heart eyes for the floral Vans! The lacing is indeed very cool, minimalist but also with a nod to classic skateboarding style!

My best friend is the Western Canadian rep for Olukai , which is the only reason I’m familiar with them . Most of the line is not my cup of tea but I’ve found 2 pair this summer that I really like ! They are going gangbusters with the line as it’s relatively new to the Cdn market and is really popular in resort areas .

Well, I laced my new Cons the way you laced your Vans, and I like the look so much better! I was able to knot the laces and tuck them under the removable footbed/insert. Wore them for a two hour ramble with no issues!

I’m now relacing everything I own except my gym shoes . Lol. I can never unsee the beauty of ladder lacing again

Wow, must be very very old fashioned myself-as the ladder lacing was the first kind I was taught when a child and done the most in my life ever since or is it something more special I am missing here for beeing that trendy and cool??!:-) Anyway both sneakes are killer! You always have the coolest shoes, and if not a cool kid, but you certainly are a cool lady, Lisa!
