Hubs texted me today and asked if I wanted to go out for a nice dinner tonight so I said YES. I took it as a sign to follow Suz’s marvelous example and finally wear my plaid taffeta skirt too.
I’m no Suz, but I like how this styling worked out for me. I was a little worried about the waist being tight, but I think I lost a couple of pounds after I bought this skirt and haven’t put them back on yet. LOL
We weren’t going super fancy, so I kept it fairly low-key. Blue silk top, black knit jacket, black opaque hosiery, and black ankle boots. I added a blue scarf for the walk from the car as it is not very cool tonight.
I’ll take this with me to NY for our Christmas trip too, maybe with my Z&V embellished blazer or my cobalt blue leather jacket. Looking forward to more occasions to wear it!
