Wearing my bubble hem jacket today 2.23.26

I'm off today running errands: dentist , library, HomeSense (don't tell my husband) and the grocery store . It is BITTERLY cold and windy today and this was not the best outfit but I was in and out of the car and not walking far.

This isn't the most photo-friendly outfit, so I took a pic of the inside to show the bubble-option details. It is identical to 2 of the jackets shown in the blog post . I picked the jacket up last year and it was love at first try-on. I love a high collar, and a short jacket . It was pricier than I usually spend but the owner of the store gave me a nice price so...

I wrapped myself up in this crazy scarf from last year's Acne scarf trend (ridiculous as I don't think I wore it more than once - it's far too big and bulky in reality ) to punch up the look and protect me from the wind.

The inside has two toggle drawstrings to exaggerate the bubble, which hikes up the length quite a bit . I wear it mid-bubble ;).

I LOVE the scarf, LJP! The palette of the pattern is fab with your hair! KILLER wind protection too Hope you wear it more often.

And the drawstring bubble jacket looks super cute with the scarf! Mid-bubble sounds dead right.

eta - I *did* go out of the house wearing what I thought were a cute pair of leopard print barrel jeans, but came home after my first stop and changed out of them. I seem determined to make barrel jeans work in the winter but they simply do not. As a matter of fact, I'm going to break up with barrel jeans after summer is over. I'm over them.

Oh, right on bubble trend. That jacket is really cool and looks great on you! I love the mega-scarf, too. It's a big look, and you pull it off wonderfully! Too bad about the leopard barrel jeans. I can picture them with this outfit, too, but if the love is gone, it's gone.

Great jacket, Lisa. I’m with you on statement scarves - they look gorgeous but not exactly practical.

Because I'm now (what my husband calls) a "bus person" , lol, I keep everything tucked in and tight to the body. No ends of scarves flinging about , no purses hanging off the shoulder . Taking up as little physical space as possible. I've also learned not to make eye contact with anyone, which is the hardest thing to do ! I'm always checking people out , lol.

Bubble hem jacket looks terrific, and I like the colour and pattern punch of the big scarf with it, even though you found it a bit bulky. I agree that barrel jeans don't work great on windy wintry days. The air seems to blow right up them, no fun.

That is a lot of scarf, love the patterns in it though. Great new jacket, I agree mid-bubble is probably about right. I love the Adidas pants but can totally picture leopard print barrels too. Too bad you didn't like wearing them. Too breezy?

Awesome jacket and the chic shape and high collar really suit you. I think the scarf looks amazing too. I can relate to your description of a bus person though. To function one needs to be tightly contained. But people watching is a must!
