Today we received a staircase for Sharkie, who has had a flare up of an old injury because he likes high places and sometimes falls. We almost had the kit assembled when a shriek let us know the internet was out. All fixed, but Sharkie has yet to try the staircase.
Before the walk I went out to pick up fallen and low lying loquats to toss over the fence for the deer, who come by late afternoon around dinner time. This year there are 2 does, both tagged on both ears, so we know they are local.
Started with this jacket bought at the last NAS. Haven't worn it much. The sleeves are sewed down for a scrunch, and work better with one of my shorter sleeved tops. Then it warmed up, so I took it off and put on my last year's NAS hat, which came off when I bent down to pick up the fruit. Maybe I'll do the walk this evening.
The deer is from a couple of years ago. This year's does are still too shy to let me get a photo of them.
