Wardrobe challenge/ KR - YouLookFab Forum

The sweater portion of the challenge is ending and I'm beginning vests. We've been having a great week of transitional weather. outfit 1 is staying. The sweater in outfit 2 is up for purge. The tank that I used to wear with it fell apart. I'm not completely against buying something to make an item work, but the item has to be worth the effort. I'm not sure this one is for me. It feels like a place holder for me.

outfit 1, Michael Kors hat, Michael sweater, Blank NYC vest, American Eagle jeans, Naughty Monkey boots.

Outfit 2, Caslon sweater, America Eagle tank, Rick Owens vest, Kut ponte pants, Humanoid booties.

3 and 4, a keep return on these Zella harems. I would be hemming them to crops.

No 1 looks great. I agree that you could purge the sweater in no 2 (but not the vest!). It's hard to see the fit of the harem pants in the photos but if they feel right I think you should keep them. I think they would work cropped and they seem like your style to me.

Absolutely keep #1. So you! Love the hat and the American Eagle jeans. (I shop AE online and love their denim.) I understand about the sweater in #2. If it is too much trouble to "make it work", then it is time to pitch. It is hard to see the harem pants from the pic. (Black items are hard to capture well in photos.) How do they feel on you? Do they fit your style?

I really like 1. Sweater in 2 seems ok but if you don't love it then it doesn't see, worth more investment.
Can't really see the harems too well.. Maybe another picture?

You look fab in the hat! I would vote pass on the Calson sweater. I think I like the harem pants better hemmed on you. What shoes would you wear with them?

Outfit #1 is fabulous.
For the sweater in #2, I would think it would go better with lighter pants. It might be good to hold onto it for the summer, when you might want to wear lighter colours.
For the zellas, I think they look good with the cuff detail, and I think you'd lose that if you hemmed, is that correct? If so, I'd return these and try to find a true harem Capri.
