Walking outfit today: coral crazy

It's been weeks since I've been able to go for a decent walk, and later today another storm comes in. So after cleaning up some debris I decided to go.

Here I am in our "coral" guest room: Boden corduroy jacket 2-3 yrs old, light coral cashmere sweater, bought on sale a few weeks ago, brown Chico's jeans, sagging a bit because I'm not wearing a belt.

And the color of the day! I just bought these Orthofeet sneakers and decided to try them out as new walking shoes. No one is out today, so I didn't hurt anyone's eyes. I'll have to plan this better. I want to be cheery today.

Side view: I'm working on that upper back, hoping to straighten it a little with PT. I've made some progress, but I tend to fall back into old habits.

Great colors, excellent blazer and wear those shoes proudly - they look great!

You had me at coral...such a great color. It is the basis of my summer travel capsule and I added a coral cashmere sweater to brighten the cloudy winter days. It blends with orange and with hot red and all my neutrals and lots of colors. The neutrals in my summer travel capsule are navy and white. The other color is cobalt blue. What new colors have you tried successfully?

Joy, I’ve been experimenting with colors during the last couple of years. I’ve rediscovered camel and certain brown shades that work well with coral. It never occurred to me to try it with hot red. Since I let my hair go natural I’m done with gray, olive, and most navy. I try with shades of yellow but find it difficult. I love off shades of red and purple. And I’ve found some blues I like.

It’s been an interesting time.
