I have just returned from a seaside campsite vacation. I had a 20-pieces capsule but ended up wearing only 6 pieces all the time, due to the heatwave that hit the Mediterranean area in those days - an average of 35 degrees C with 70% humidity. At the beach and at the campsite I was in a swimsuit. To go out and about, the only things I could stand on my skin in 16 days have been:
- 2 white fluid tees - the other tees felt too warm
- a pair of thin, lightweight navy shorts (actually they are pajamas)
- 2 breezy viscose dresses - cream patterned and black& white floral
- flipflops all the time - also to go grocery shopping, to the restaurant ... something I consider a big no-no, but even my sandals felt too warm and so I decided "not to give a damn".
A black jersey midi dress (recently bought, super comfy!), a fuchsia hoodie and a pair of white slipons were worn only on the ferry there and back.
I relaxed a lot, swam a lot, walked around with wet, messy hair, no makeup - just a dab of lipstick, I cannot live without lipstick!
Thank you for watching. Comments and suggestions always welcome!
