V-necks are EVERYWHERE, making many, many clients and friends happy. That is a major win.

Personally, I'm losing. V-necks are one of my worst necklines unless they're a collared shirt/blouse. I'm passing up dress after dress, and top after top because of the V-neck. Oh, well! You can't have it all every season. I'm sticking to a more classic look for tops because of the neckline, and that's fine too. See Finds below. Enjoying a few body con tops. Onward and upward always.

Sadly, not me! I see vnecks on every dress, top, and jumpsuit it seems. My giraffe neck and narrow head long for a boat or crew neck of any kind... have to say, my wallet is thankful

I'm actually not doing much shopping these days, but was thrilled to stock up on (what I'd consider) perfect tees in my fav colours, earlier in the spring. V neck, of course.

And I just got this Boden dress... another v neck. Tried it on VERY quickly yesterday, can't wait to evaluate it a bit better when I have more time, as I think it's a winner. I absolutely love cobalt and citron together, so fell hard for this. It's not quite citron, but it's still a great yellow,and I think will go with my sneaks (and purse) just fine.

I haven’t noticed that v-necks are popular but I am not looking for tops at the moment. Maybe it’s a good thing that I don’t need any.

Hmm, I am in between. V-necks are not my favorite neckline, but I can wear them. I typically only purchase items with this neckline if they are otherwise perfect and something I have been looking for a while. Below are my v-neck purchases this season.

Yup, there are so many v-neck blouses. They don't work on me, especially the wrap ones. I love classic tops, so the v-neck trend is not a big source of sorrow for me, as I can find classics any time. Also, having reduced options in one area (tops) sort of gets my creative juices flowing in other areas. I feel sorry for those who are really into prints though - tough to find them with a high neck these days!

I, too, have not been shopping lately, since spring still has yet to spring where I'm living, and spring/summer is so short here that I avoid buying too much for these seasons.

Theoretically, I'm not anti-V, but the truth is I'm with you—all these other collars, like round, scoop, funnel, cowl—speak to me more. I'm tempted by your Boden spotted shirt, but alas, it is so *me* that I already have too many things like it. I wish it was offered in red spot... that's something I could really use...

Happy to see them available again, though only one of the tops I got this year has a v neck (so far). The keyhole necks are making me happy too, which I started seeing more last year.

My favorite necklines are boat or slash, so I picked up the AT top pick a few weeks ago. Both V-necks and crews have to be just right for me, including the right sleeve length, and like you, I prefer V-necks with a collar.

I've noticed I'm often not much of a fan of v-necks either, Angie, but I can't figure out why! I have broader shoulders and a short waist so that *should* work for me but sometimes a v-neck just doesn't feel right.

Seconding Anchie! I don't really notice v necks to the exclusion of other necklines-wheras last year there seemed to be only high necks.

I love V necks on me but have stopped wearing them to protect my skin.

Years ago, while on a trip to San Francisco, I was outdoors (in a zipped jacket, not sunbathing) and the skin at the top of my chest turned pink and never recovered. Since then, I don't even risk sunscreen. Fabric feels safer.

Yes I have only just noticed this in my search for a dress for my daughter’s wedding. They nearly all seem to have V-necks when I prefer scoop. I can like a V ( my very favourite T-shirt has a V) but it has to be quite a shallow V and they all seem to be deep, which sort of exposes too much skin on me, too sharp, not the soft curves I prefer.
I was trawling shops and thinking hmm, V-necks must be fashionable!

I have a short neck and have found many recent years full of either crew necks or wide (at times sloppy) necklines, as opposed to a graceful boatneck, which can also slightly elongate the neck if cut just right. I have got to get out and update tops with some V necks while the getting is good.

Sorry for your troubles. Boden seems to have a lot of dresses that avoid v-necks this season.

I have not especially noticed but I like a vee neck- along with boat neck it is my favourite. Short neck, short waist, voluminous hair, broad shoulders, average bust - they work well on me.

I hope a few crews and boat necks arrive for those who prefer higher necks.

I'm not opposed to v-necks, although some are too deep for my shortish torso and small bust. I like a slight v-neck or scoop for showcasing short pendant necklaces. I have a fairly long neck, but wide square shoulders as well, so generally don't feel overwhelmed by open necklines. My favorite neckline by far is a collared shirt with a couple of buttons undone. That's the right amount of V for me.
