Using my pinterest boards

I have created a lot of pinterest boards over the years for outfit inspiration, but so rarely actually go to them for ... inspiration. But today I did and here is the result.

Awesome, Andi! I am thinking that a patterned scarf with black in it would also work as an accessory--maybe even with or without a necklace!

thanks everyone! the necklace (which isn't falling very well in the photo) is probably from TJ Maxx from a few years ago. I find fun, trendy costume jewelry there pretty regularly. But I can't do a find.

Column: I do often layer a necklace and a scarf, I'll replicate this as the weather gets cooler (which it was, we were having a lovely late summer, and now back up to low 90's and humid) with a scarf. I have plenty!

Let's see if I can copy a couple of my pinterest boards here. I should organize my boards a bit, there are some duplications among boards, but I do think that the Outfits With Things I Have or Close board would be most useful, since I, well, have at least approximations of what I am liking in my closet (s)

I just saw a necklace similar to the inspo piece, so I'm appending a find for it. J Crew has also had chunky-link necklaces, tho maybe all shorter variations.

I love that find, EmilyK, I've been eyeballing other plastic/resin chain necklaces and do like those shorter tortoise ones (and that long one too). Although the one I really covet right now is also from JCrew is in finds below. I purchased the leopard shirt (finds) at WHBM for my organizations conference next week, and thought the find necklace would rock with that. The blouse in the store (and the tags) are on the v-neck not the crew side of the shirt, so I tried it on with that V in the back! but when I just created this find, I see they show the V in the front. haha, just like LisaP finding out she was wearing hers backwards. A dual facing shirt, I like that! Also planning to wear the leopard blouse with THIS jcrew Regent Blazer (they don't show it in the light camel color I have, only the black and blue, but the blazer works perfectly with the blouse. I think I'll start a new My Conference Wear thread.

Great outfit. I like the way your cardigan is shorter than the BF jeans. It seems to be a more flattering proportion than in the pin outfit.

Tanya I will say those shoes were hurting by days end. I loved loved loved the SM cross strapped pumps you included in your conference capsule and stalked them on line. Later saw they were a few years old. Same day une femme posted a similar SM wedge, low heel, very elegant. I'll see if I can do a find. Or link to Susan's webpage. You might like them if you are looking to replace similar.

I am sorry to hear about the shoes hurting, AndiB. Thank you for the nice words about the SM shoes, they are one of my favorite shoes ever and I am sad they are starting to show signs of wear (had them for 4 or so years). I am eying this somewhat similar style from Ecco, in case you are interested. And looking forward to the photo of the other SM wedges!
