After working briefly with clients, I walked Sam and did some errands downtown. Gorgeous sunny Autumn Day, and this is WIW - #1 and #2. I kept my dressy shoes on while walking Sam. Everything on foot.

On the way home we saw a sign on a door that said: "UNIVERSAL STANDARD". We thought we'd take a peek at the showroom because why not!

We were BOTH welcomed with open arms into a new, fably renovated and hip Seattle showroom a few blocks from our loft. The Director explained the business model to me and Sam - who was all ears and as interested as I was.

Of course, I know all about the brand and its made many a top picks list. For those who do not know:

UNIVERSAL STANDARD is a Seattle based company that believes in Fashion Freedom. All of Us. As we are. Sizes 00 to 40. Full stop. They provide elevated wardrobe essentials in quality fabrics - and I'm impressed.

As a style activist, our messages are aligned. It's moments like this that make me proud to be a Seattleite

The showroom will host YLF gatherings, and I can bring my clientele any time. They have EVERY size in their showroom. All you have to do is book an appointment - which is free - and try on their stuff. But you have to order the items you like after a session and they will take a few days to ship. Warehouse is IN SEATTLE. I believe their other two showrooms are in NYC and Chicago.

Rest of the photos are of Universal Standard merchandise. I'm inspired.
