Uniform. Yawn. Trying to personalize somewhat

I hardly ever take work wear pics. Yesterday I pushed the envelope with wearing my distressed jeans for the first time. I don't think anyone noticed. Tee hee.
Today was my spiked shoes with my VS convertible cargo jacket that Rae also has. It was warm for us (76) but I didn't want to wear spaghetti strap tank standing alone, so the vest seemed a good solution. Got 2 compliments on it and one guy who asked if I had fishing lures hidden in a pocket You hear all kinds of things in a bar, of course!
Basically, this is just trying to make the fitted tee plus jeans and sneakers formula more 'me'. Unfortunately my golf course job leaves NO room for feeling like 'me'. So I guess I'll continue to try and work this pub uniform best I can.

Thanks for looking. I know it's not the height of fashion Just my reality.

Love how you put more personality in work uniforms. It sucks having a gret closet and little chance to wear it.

Marley, those are Vigoss jeans from Nordie's (only 50 bucks!) but are technically not allowed on the job, as 'holes' are not allowed. But it's sort of riding a fine line . . . we'll see how long I can get away with it ha ha.

They both look cute. At my job we have a company approved smock that is the only thing we can wear over our polos. The bright side of not being able to dress like me at work is that I dont have to think about work when I'm buying clothes.

Both outfits are great! I like the logo on the shirts; to me, it looks cool. As in, if you didn't tell me this was your work uniform, I wouldn't know. They just look like pretty hip, relaxed casual outfits. Nicely done!

Making the most of your reality is a good thing - I think you're doing a great job, both outfits have some personality and flair. And those jeans fit you and really suit you nicely. Can you wear jewelry at the golf job? Just thinking it might be a way to add just a little more fun. Is that your big furry baby there? What a cutie.

And listen, I hear you - I don't even wear a uniform yet working at home as I do I still feel I'm in uniform in the sense that it has to be super casual and comfortable! And impervious to cat fur.

Okay, I must fess up - the fur baby passed away a decade ago. This is the BF's much loved Freeway. He's been stuffed and stays a part of the family.

I think you look great in both outfits. That is coming from one who is a very casual dresser most of the time. These are to work in a pub in Tahoe though, so I think you are very appropriate. Being overdressed is as out of place as being underdressed.

That is so sweet and ever so slightly creepy. I would totally do that if i loved a pet.

Fun casual outfits. When sporting an uniform, I always deferred to mixing up the features I could, earrings, nails, make-up, and hair. Maybe try a different hairstyle everyday you work to make the uniform feel more "you?" If you cannot change up anything on your look, well at least you can chanage your handbags. I had my largest collection of handbags when I had to sport a uniform for work.
