Previously on YLF : Staysfit asked me : does it ever rain where you live ? and inspired this post.
You'll all be interested to learn we've had the rainiest month of May since 1873 (I feel so privileged it happened in my lifetime).
#1, 2 : my two trenchcoats. Trenchcoats are workhorses, I wear them all Spring and Fall, whether it rains or not. I had people tell me they feel silly in a trenchcoat if it doesn't rain, and they feel silly wearing an umbrella with a trenchcoat even if it rains - doesn't sound rational to me, but fashion's irrational, that's one of its most endearing feature.
#3,4,5 : took pics of what I wore underneath while I was at it. I think #5 is a fail, I like that blazer but I need to do my homework and style it properly, it's long, not cinched, so proportions are tricky.
#6,7,8 : trying to impersonate movie characters yielding umbrellas - guess who if you want to indulge me.
