Other than longer jeans being more common, this combo is typical for me lately. I wore this to church. Everywhere I go is twice as casual as it was five or ten years ago, and if I went back in time twenty years wearing this, I’d be seen as a total slob, rude and inappropriate. Back then I had a collection of dresses, high heels, jackets, skirts and jewelry to match everything. But I don’t miss those days, because this is so much more genuinely me.
Blouse, probably TJMaxx, two years old. Olive cargo crops; TJMaxx, at least five years old; teeshirt, Target, this spring; Birkenstocks, about a year old. No jewelry except earrings which are some kind of lime green natural stone.
