Angie thanks! It was fun. And with the blue top, I am thinking I may get more wear out of it than a few weeks of transitional weather because my current office is a lot warmer in the winter.
Thanks Jenni. I didn't dance much because it was mostly couples dancing and DH can't. But I did the huckeback and another individual dance, though not sure if they is rock and roll.

Merwoman, yes the fit was the main reason I went for that dress. The hire shop didn't have much in my size (original plan was to wear a cheerleader outfit)

One general point. I have always thought I don't have the ideal figure for 50s clothes. That is still true, but a very padded bra, tulle petticoat, and the cardigan really helped to rectify things!
