The order I placed with Anthro arrived, and two out of three items are quite nice. One was a dress, one a skirt, and one a top.

I tried one white sleeveless top that I don’t like as well as others I have, so it’s going back.

The grey t-shirt dress is quite good! The fit is perfect on me in a M, so it’s pretty TTS, and the subtle waist shaping detail is flattering. I wish it were a more interesting color, and I’d prefer a V neck rather than a crew, but everything else about it is so good I’m thinking it may be a keeper. I would wear a long pendant necklace to add the vertical integrity I’d normally get from a V neck. And I can add color with bag and accessories.

The skirt is a pleasant surprise. It was discounted and reviews said it ran really small, so I gulped down my pride and sized up to a number I will not utter. It actually looks really nice on, and it’s just a smidge roomy, but I don’t mind that at all for a summer skirt, especially since I have a bunch of summer things right now that are a little snug and I crave a roomier fit in an item or two. The quality is very nice, and the button front is actually stitched down and just for show — there is a zip in the back — so it has the vertical detail of a button front without the actual potential for button gaping, which is always a risk with button front skirts. The pattern is really appealing to me too. I envision wearing this with simple solid black or white tops and sandals or sneakers.

I’ll try to take pics soon.
