Oh Carla, I neglected to answer — the skirt does have pockets, yay! They’re patch pockets on the front, and they gave me pause at first, but I think the print blends well and they don’t add horizontal lines right where I don’t need them, as I feared.
And I added the knot to the blue Cloth & Stone dress I’m wearing in #1.
I can’t remember whether I saw that treatment in the store or I came up with it myself — I have been tying up the hem of an old midi/maxi skirt of mine for many years, so it’s kind of a old trick I’ve been using for a while to help eliminate tripping hazard and also rein in extra volume/fabric. It helps show a little leg and add some structure too.
