Two double denim outfits - YouLookFab Forum

I like double denim. Denim jackets have become wardrobe essentials for me. I like them as casual toppers to dress down my look on the weekend and for casual dress day at work on a Friday. Finding casual summer toppers for cold aircon was a HEWI and denim jackets filled this need. I particularly like my white denim jacket with its cotton peplum hem and cropped boxy style, it is a bit dressier than a standard denim jacket.

Outfit one- worn yesterday, jeans, Westie shirt (found for me by Janet) and cropped white jacket. Apologies no Finds for denim jacket by Marc Cain and hustler jeans by Mother.

Outfit two - wearing today, denim skirt, pink blouse and pink denim jacket.

All comments and suggestions for improvement are great fully received.

Katerina, even when casual I am happiest if there is some tailoring in my outfit, so denim is a great fabric for me in achieving that goal.

Brooklyn, it took me quite a long time to realise that classic items are not for me. I always like things best if they have a subtle point of difference to a true classic.

Mainlady, I like mixing up different colours of denim. Tonal denim is much harder to make work for me.
