A while back I was debating on rather or not to get this simple, "beachy" tweed jacket I saw online. Not expensive so it seemed perfect for wearing with shorts or jeans on trips to the coast, or here around the lake. It's very light weight and breathable, unlined, and mostly cotton. Machine washable and under $35 made it feel like a steal.
Anyway, the studs at the shoulders put me off because I worried about comfort when sitting So I took a long time before ordering it. Finally I couldn't get my mind off of it so I clicked the order button.
I just got it and it's a little wrinkled, but I thought I'd try it out with a few typical tanks under it. The base color actually has more of a "sand" look to it that didn't come through so much in the photos but I do like that part because with the blue and black stripes it ends up being very wearable for my wardrobe.
The studs do not bother me when sitting as I feared - so that was the main thing that kept me from it originally.
I'm pretty sure I'm keeping it - because it's comfy, makes me think of the beach and it goes with a lot - I could see pairing it with my AE rolled Bermuda shorts in tan or navy, my white BF shorts, faded jeans, etc. as well as with many colors under (I have a deep coral tank that I think would work too).
But what do you think?
