Trying AT Skirt for Pear

Hi,

Well my local AT had the skirt I was asking about for the pear shape body in this post.

I'm usually a 4 in AT bottoms, however, in this skirt I fit into a 0, for anyone considering it, you may need to size down. Probably because it sits at the waist.

Yay=keep
Nay=keep looking

I can't help but think it would be a 10 with another inch in length. But it's only an 8 for me now. An 8 isn't bad so I'll leave you to decide how that figures into consideration.

I like it from the front, from the side it seems a little pouffy? Is that just my eye? At any rate, it works much better on you than I think it would on me, but I'm just all-around bigger than you if you can even think about pulling a size 0 on your body! The smallest I can ever go at AT is a 6.

Just goes to show you should always try stuff on!

Thanks everybody, I would not have given this skirt a chance if I had not received encouragement in my earlier post.

Alecia-Thanks for pointing out the length, I may try a skirt a little longer as suggested during my next skirt hunt.

Janet-You are right, this skirt is quite full. I think I can get away with this, since it's obvious the skirt is full all around. If only the back were full, I'd be in trouble. Actually the back, usually my bum pulls the skirt up and the back ends up shorter than the front. Pears and skirts is not easy!

Angie-Gloat away, I am in love with this skirt even more now, since it works for me! Yay, my first non denim skirt in years that I am loving. Thanks for the encouragement to give this one a whirl.

I like this one on you a lot. Your waist looks teensy and it drapes nicely over the hips and thighs.

It is adorable and the colors/pattern seem like they would be perfect for summer.

Did you try a Size 2? I just wondered because others' comments about length, poofiness, would change with one size up. It would hang more and should be a tad longer.

MNsara-Yes, I did try the 2, and the 4, and the 6, hey what can I say, I worked my way smaller, tee hee. The 2 was a tad roomy in the waist and would need the waist taken in, also it had more fabric, which did make it longer, but also gave me more poof all around, I felt a tad too poofy in it actually.
